Othello's Jealousy
Problem of Time in Othello
Othello has helped to shape the world today in ways subtle, or not so much. The story in Othello serves to warn people of how they could be manipulated... Or what techniques they could possibly use to do the manipulating. So many stories have a similar plot to Othello, finding inspiration in the classic play. Others have blatant references, or are actual modern re-imaginings of the play, sometimes without people even knowing it. One such example would be the movie "O", released in 2001. The culture of today has been influenced by Shakespeare as well, finding the inspiration to make their own stories. Many of Shakespeare's plots nowadays are reused in film and literature, and those movies in turn affect the people's culture.
